About the role

Farmcraft, an independent family owned business established in 1992, is SE Queensland's largest independently owned group of rural merchandise stores.

We are looking for a casual Rural Merchandise Delivery Driver & Sales Assist to join our Lowood store.

You will work with a diverse customer base including primary producers, equine enthusiasts, fencing contractors, home gardeners and lifestyle block owners.

We are looking for a flexible allrounder with experience in multi-drop truck driving and customer service. A team player with a can-do positive attitude and good people skills will be well regarded.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering orders in a timely & safe manner
- Loading & unloading freight (hand unload as required)
- Providing exceptional customer service in-store & on-farm
- Assist with store duties, including sales & customer service in-store





Qualifications:

- Current MR Licence
- Clean driving record (& be willing to provide a traffic history report)
- Current Forklift ticket

About you

- Experience in multi-drop truck driving, warehousing & customer service
- Retail or agricultural experience an advantage
- Valuable written & verbal communication skills
- The ability to work both autonomously & as part of a team
- Punctual & reliable, with an excellent work ethic
- Ability to follow directions & also think for yourself
- You will need to be physically fit & able to manually lift 20-25kg stock items.
