About the Role (your why)
n
Our Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for creating and maintaining robust desktop Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for our customers, enabling remote support and ensuring standardisation across diverse IT landscapes. As a Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist, you'll work closely with customers to transform their businesses in line with cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions as part of their digital transformation journey. You will also provide expert 3rd-level support, develop ongoing processes, and help drive continuous improvement in customer environments.

What you'll do
n
n
- Designing and maintaining modern SOE architectures for multiple customers
n
- Working with customers to deliver cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions
n
- Developing processes to standardise support and maintenance across environments
n
- Providing 3rd-level support and acting as an escalation point for complex desktop issues
n
- Proactively managing and maintaining customer SOEs and supporting infrastructure
n
- Delivering project tasks accurately and efficiently and contributing to project reporting
n
- Guiding and mentoring team members to resolve technical challenges
n
- Ensuring a health and safety culture in line with Datacom policies
n
n

What you'll bring
n
Required experience:
n
n
- 5+ years of related experience in endpoint engineering and SOE management
n
- 5+ years of related experience working for a Managed Service Provider
n
- Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes, including product lifecycles
n
- Advanced end-user management skills alongside modern and traditional SOE methodologies
n
- Intermediate project management principles and Office 365 skills
n
- Experience in Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC, Intune and SCCM (MECM)
n
- Experience in Active Directory Group Policy Management
n
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
n
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions in line with organisational goals
n
n
Nice to have:
n
n
- Development qualifications with understanding of Full Software Development Lifecycle and version control
n
- Specialisation certifications in MD-102 and AZ-140
n
- Citrix experience
n
- Experience in large-scale collaborative environments
