Based at our Thomastown branch, you'll be responsible for the full operation — from receiving and dispatch through to counter sales, team supervision and business development. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing all warehouse operations: receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and returns
n
- Serving trade and retail customers at the counter with accurate HVAC product advice
n
- Supervising, rostering and developing a small team of warehouse and counter sales staff
n
- Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts and stock rotation
n
- Following up quotes and sales leads to convert enquiries into orders
n
- Identifying opportunities to grow trade accounts and repeat business
n
- Upholding customer service standards and resolving issues promptly
n
- Championing safe work practices and WHS compliance across the team
n
n
Key Performance Indicators

Your performance will be measured against:

- Monthly and annual sales budgets
n
- Stock accuracy rates from cycle counts and stocktakes
n
- Customer service standards — acknowledge customers within 30 seconds, answer phones within 4 rings, respond to emails within 1 hour
n
- WHS compliance: incident rates,
hazard reporting and housekeeping audits
n
- Team performance, retention and training completion
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- Current forklift licence (LF)
n
- Experience in HVAC, refrigeration or related trade supply
n
- Demonstrated warehouse management and team leadership experience
n
- Counter sales or customer service experience in a trade, wholesale or industrial workplace
n
- Physically fit and comfortable working hands-on daily
n
- Strong communication skills with trade customers and staff
n
- Sound computer literacy including POS/inventory systems
n
n
Preferred
n
n
- Familiarity with Reckon Accounts or similar software
n
- Current driver's licence
n
n
