Senior Lead Software Developer – SITA

Purpose
n
Manages the technical design and development of complex cross‐functional multi‐platform applications and systems.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Develop cost‐effective robust designs that are based on a thorough, holistic analysis of functional and non‐functional requirements, accounting for dependencies, constraints, and technological feasibility.
n
- Act as the technical expert for multiple applications, systems, or technologies, providing guidance to less experienced developers.
n
- Recommend and participate in the selection of new technologies and technical processes.
n
- Perform complex application programming activities, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying systems.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- 10+ years' experience in a software engineering environment designing and developing software applications.
n
n
Knowledge & Skills
n
n
- Expert level with Java build tools (Maven, Gradle, Fastlane) and docker tools (Harbor, Docker, Docker‐Compose).
n
- Extensive experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Ansible Tower), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, ADO pipelines, and CI/CD tools.
n
- Strong experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Unix/Linux systems, RHEL, SELinux, networking fundamentals,
and large‐scale distributed system design.
n
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), monitoring (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk), and DevSecOps practices.
n
n
