Role

n

We're looking for a hands‐on Senior Engineer with deep experience in front‐end design to help shape the future of our employee experience. This is not a pure coding role — you'll be actively involved in architectural decisions, mentoring other developers, and owning features from concept to production.

Our team follows a "you build it, you run it" philosophy — quality, testing, and production stability are shared responsibilities. You won't just be handed tickets — you'll be expected to challenge ideas, propose better ones, and drive elegant solutions that improve both the product and the platform.

Our team is AI‐first: we use Claude and other AI tools to plan and write much of our code, automate PR reviews, and streamline workflows — freeing engineers to focus on higher‐value work like architecture, innovation, and improving developer experience.

Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers, you'll help deliver impactful solutions that enhance our digital touchpoints and improve our member experience.

What You'll Do

n

- Design & Architecture: Lead technical discussions,



contribute to system design, and make architectural decisions that shape our platform.
n
- Mentor & Guide: Provide thoughtful code reviews, pairing sessions, and technical coaching to help other engineers grow.
n
- Ownership & Quality: Take accountability for shipping, testing, monitoring, and supporting your work in production — we don't have a separate QA team.
n
- Collaborate Closely: Partner with product and design to deliver solutions that balance technical excellence with business impact.
n
- Clean code: Write clean, efficient, modular, and scalable code using TypeScript, NestJS, React, NextJS, and GraphQL.
n
- Deliver full‐stack solutions: Focus primarily on front‐end design using React and modern HTML/CSS techniques.
n
- Design‐led engineering: Drive a design‐led engineering approach, ensuring UI/UX principles are embedded into every stage of development.

About You

n

n
- Has 7+ years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year working with TypeScript, NestJS, React, NextJS, and GraphQL.
n
- Experienced full‐stack developer with a strong emphasis on front‐end design using React and modern CSS/HTML techniques.
n
- Hands‐on expertise in styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS to deliver scalable, responsive, and maintainable designs.
n
- Embrace and apply an AI‐led engineering approach,



utilising AI tools and methodologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and product excellence.
n
- Takes a pragmatic, results‐oriented approach, balancing technical excellence with real‐world application.
n
- Has a strong ownership mindset, taking initiative and accountability for delivering impactful solutions.
n
- Collaborates effectively across teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
n
- Thrives in a high‐growth, fast‐moving environment and adapts quickly to change.
