Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Officer

A fantastic opportunity is available for a proactive Accounts Receivable /Credit Officer to join a dynamic and welcoming finance team near Richlands. This is a key role within a respected business that promotes a culture of collaboration, precision, and excellent client service.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Accurately process and reconcile daily customer payments
n
- Regularly review debtor accounts and flag potential risks
n
- Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices while preserving robust customer relationships
n
- Manage credit applications and conduct reference checks
n
- Set up new customer accounts following credit approval
n
- Periodically evaluate credit limits and make recommendations
n
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and manage a shared collections inbox
n
- Maintain accurate financial data and ensure confidentiality of customer information
n
- Work closely with sales account managers to provide actionable customer activity reports
n
- Assist with improving systems and streamlining credit processes
n

About You

n

n
- At least 2 years' experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
n
- Familiarity with Pronto ERP
n




- Solid knowledge of customer account processes and credit control principles
n
- Certificate IV in Accounting (or equivalent qualification) is highly regarded
n
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
n
- Analytical mindset with experience compiling reports and interpreting financial data
n
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
n
- A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
n
