About the Opportunity:
n This is a fantastic entry‐level opportunity within a structured training program designed to support women into long‐term careers as Operator Drivers. The successful candidate will commence as a contingent worker with Cat5 for an initial 3‐month period before transitioning into the Women on Wheels program.
n The Women on Wheels program is a 12‐month training pathway. Participants will gain hands‐on experience, supported training, and assistance in obtaining their HR licence, with the goal of securing long‐term employment as an Operator Driver.
n Eligibility: This is an identified position for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander woman.
n
Key Requirements:
n

- Current driver's licence (minimum 2 years, no L plates)
n
- Must be Karratha‐based with own accommodation (residential role, no FIFO or housing provided)
n
- Ability to pass pre‐employment medicals, including Fit2Drive assessment
n
- Willingness to receive required vaccinations
n
- Ability to pass and maintain Drug & Alcohol screening
n
- Ability to complete a National Police Clearance
n

Multi System Operator/Driver
n
Roster: Monday–Friday, 5am starts + occasional Saturdays
n
Location: Rockhampton, QLD
n
Duty & Responsibilities:
n
n
- Operate company collection vehicles across the wider Rockhampton region, primarily using Front Lift and Hook Lift systems as operationally required
n
- Safely operate company vehicles and associated equipment in line with procedures
n
- Transport and deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
n
- Conduct daily pre‐start inspections and routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
n
- Liaise professionally with clients and ensure safe loading and unloading of the vehicle

Skills and Experience:
