Job Description
n
- Build and manage LawY's events calendar, including conferences, sponsorships, roundtables, webinars and sales-led activations.
n
- Own the end-to-end delivery of every event, from initial planning through to post-event follow-up.
n
- Identify and evaluate recent event opportunities based on audience fit, strategic value and expected ROI.
n
- Manage budgets, venues, suppliers, registrations, travel, technology, collateral, and event logistics.
n
- Be hands-on at events, including setup, speaker briefings, attendee engagement, troubleshooting, and pack-down.
n
- Coordinate speakers, presentations, briefing documents, run sheets, and event communications.
n
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales on invitations, promotion, meeting generation, lead follow-up, and nurture.
n
- Coordinate event materials, including decks, brochures, one-pagers, landing pages, emails, signage, and social assets.
n
- Build strong relationships with legal associations, industry bodies, event organisers and sponsorship providers.
n
- Represent LawY confidently and professionally at events across Australia, including presenting, facilitating discussions and MCing webinars as needed.
n
- Monitor competitor activity, audience feedback and emerging opportunities in the legal technology market.
n
- Track registrations, attendance, engagement, leads, meetings, pipeline influence, and ROI in HubSpot.
n
- Report on what is working, what is not, and where LawY should invest next.
n

Requirements
n
n
- 5+ years' experience in events, field marketing, campaign marketing or a related B2B role.
n
- Proven experience personally delivering conferences, sponsorships, roundtables and webinars.
n
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities at once.
n
- Confident working with Sales, Marketing, suppliers, speakers and external partners.
n
- A commercial mindset and an understanding of how events support brand growth, pipeline and revenue.
n
- Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM.
n
- Experience in SaaS, legal technology, AI or professional services would be highly regarded.
n
- Based in Sydney, with the flexibility to travel interstate regularly.
n
