We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused High Risk Trainer & Assessor to join our team in Queensland. In this role, you will deliver and assess nationally recognised high-risk work training to individuals and corporate clients across industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, transport, and logistics.

You will be responsible for providing engaging theory and practical training, ensuring learners develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to operate safely and meet licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver and assess nationally recognised High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) training and assessment.
n
- Prepare and deliver engaging classroom, practical, and workplace-based training.
n
- Conduct competency-based assessments in accordance with training package and regulatory requirements.
n
- Maintain accurate training, assessment, and student records.
n
- Ensure compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), organisational policies, and Queensland licensing requirements.
n
- Promote safe work practices and a positive safety culture.
n
- Maintain training equipment and resources to a high standard.
n
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
n
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
n
- Current High Risk Work Licence(s) relevant to the classes being delivered (e.g. Forklift, Order Picking Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding, Crane, Elevated Work Platform, Pressure Equipment).
n
- Demonstrated recent industry experience in one or more high-risk work disciplines.
n
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and safe operating procedures.
n
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
n
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
n
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
n

Desirable
n
n
- Appointment as a High Risk Work Licence Assessor in Queensland or eligibility to obtain appointment.
n
- Experience delivering training within the Australian VET sector.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
n
- Experience delivering training to corporate and site-based clients.
n
- Strong digital literacy and experience using learning management systems.
n
