We are thrilled to be launching our first Australian campus in Doncaster, Melbourne in 2026, bringing high-fidelity Montessori education and exceptional service to the local community.

Role Overview:
n
Join us as part of the founding team and be at the heart of our inaugural Australian school. This is a unique opportunity for a language specialist to integrate authentic English and Mandarin immersion into a model Montessori environment from the very beginning. You will work collaboratively with our Montessori Guides to create a rich, bilingual setting that fosters a child's natural language acquisition and cultural appreciation. This role is perfect for a dedicated educator who wants to build a strong community and set the standard for early childhood language education in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Deliver Immersive Language Support:
n
Provide rich, consistent language exposure in English OR Mandarin throughout the daily routine, in alignment with Montessori principles.
n
Collaborate with the Montessori Guide to present lessons and support children's learning in your domain languages.
n
Model clear and precise language for children, expanding their vocabulary in a natural and contextualized manner.
n
Help create and maintain a bilingual environment that reflects both languages and cultures.
n
Support the Montessori Classroom:
n
Provide careful supervision to ensure children's safety and adhere to Victoria's mandated teacher-to-child ratios at all times.
n
Observe each child closely, documenting their progress and interests, and share observations with the Lead Guide to help meet individual needs.
n
Guide children with warmth, respect, and joy, fostering their innate desire for independence and learning.
n
Assist in maintaining a beautiful, orderly, safe, and nurturing Montessori-prepared workplace.
n
Build Strong Partnerships with Families & Community:
n
Communicate regularly with parents in a personalised manner using our approved tools (e.g., photo-sharing software, newsletters).
n
Provide formal, cumulative feedback through twice-yearly parent-teacher conferences, progress reports, and student portfolios.
n
Meet with parents as needed to discuss their child's development and build strong, trusting relationships.
n
Participate in and help host community events, classroom celebrations, and parent education evenings.
n
Professional Collaboration & Growth:
n
Actively implement feedback from your Montessori Guide, Montessori Mentor and the Head of School to refine your practice.
n
Participate in problem-solving challenging student situations with the support of your leadership team.
n
Engage in regular staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, and annual professional development.
n
Pursue ongoing learning to deepen your Montessori practice and pedagogical knowledge.
n
Qualifications and Experience
n
A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
n
Montessori Certification (AMI/AMS) is preferred
n
Experience working with children of the appropriate age group (0-6 years)
n
An understanding of, or willingness to train in, Montessori principles and practices.
n
Growth mindset and problem-solving approach
