Field Service Technician – Woodworking Machinery | Victoria & Tasmania Wood Tech (part of RJS Tech Pty Ltd)

Keep Victoria and Tasmania's cabinet makers, joiners and manufacturers running. Wood Tech has been supplying and servicing CNC routers, edgebanders, panel saws and industrial cutting tools since 1992 — and we're looking for an experienced service technician to join our team.

What you'll be doing

n

Installing, commissioning and servicing woodworking machinery on customer sites across Victoria and Tasmania

n

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and PLC/controller faults on CNC and industrial equipment

n

Carrying out scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown calls

n

Working directly with cabinetmaking, joinery and manufacturing customers who rely on us to keep their production lines moving

n

What you need

n

Proven trade experience as a service technician, fitter, electrician or similar — ideally on industrial/CNC or woodworking machinery,



but robust mechanical/electrical fault-finding experience on other equipment will be considered

n

A current driver's licence

n

Willing and able to travel, including regular overnight trips to regional Victoria and Tasmania (all travel and accommodation covered)

n
