Job Description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Survey leader to join a highly regarded national Engineering & Design consultancy in a pivotal leadership position.

This is a rare chance to take ownership of an established Survey business, lead a high-performing team and play a key role in driving the next phase of growth across NSW.

With the backing of a nationally recognised multidisciplinary business, you'll have the autonomy, influence and commercial support to build your own legacy while remaining hands-on with key clients and projects.

Reporting to the State Director, you will lead the Survey business across NSW, taking responsibility for its operational performance, strategic growth and profitability.
n
Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you will be empowered to make decisions locally, drive business development initiatives and build long-term client relationships across both existing and emerging markets.
n
You'll inherit an established team of approximately 30 professionals in NSW while collaborating nationally across engineering, urban planning and property disciplines to deliver integrated client solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and grow the Survey business across NSW
n
- Develop and execute strategic business growth initiatives
n
- Build and strengthen relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
n
- Win new work while expanding existing client partnerships
n
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing technical team
n
- Drive revenue, profitability and commercial performance
n
- Oversee project delivery, resource planning and financial performance
n
- Support recruitment, succession planning and future leadership development
n
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on exceptional client outcomes
n
n
You are an established Survey leader with strong commercial capability and an extensive industry network.

- Significant leadership experience within surveying, engineering or land development consulting

- Demonstrated success growing teams, revenue and market presence

- Strong business development capability with proven client relationships

- Excellent commercial acumen and experience managing business performance
