You will be supporting a major Australian infrastructure organisation undertaking a significant procurement transformation initiative. The environment is complex, stakeholder-rich, and focused on improving procurement processes and technology capability.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong SAP Ariba and/or SAP S/4HANA Procurement experience to join a high-profile transformation program.

The successful candidate will work closely with procurement teams, business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical delivery teams to support Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and procurement processes
- Analyse and map current and future-state Source-to-Pay processes
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Facilitate workshops, process walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions
- Support solution design activities alongside functional and technical teams
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best-practice solutions
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assist with defect analysis, issue resolution, and validation activities
- Develop business process documentation, training materials,



and user guides
- Support data validation, reporting requirements, and deployment activities
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working within SAP Ariba and/or SAP S/4HANA procurement environments
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes including:
- Sourcing and RFx activities
- Requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Goods Receipts
- Invoicing
- Supplier Management
- Approval Workflows
- Strong requirements gathering and business process mapping experience
- Experience producing business and functional documentation
- Understanding of procurement and ERP system integrations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

Highly Desirable Experience with one or more of the following SAP Ariba modules:

- Buying and Invoicing
- Guided Buying
- Guided Sourcing
- Sourcing
- Contracts
- Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)

Additionally:
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA procurement implementation projects
- Experience with SIT and UAT testing processes
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or SAP Solution Manager
- SAP certifications
- Business Analysis certifications.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline
- Relevant Business Analysis or SAP certifications highly regarded.
