Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SAP S/4HANA HCM Payroll to support payroll transformation, implementation, and ongoing operations across the ANZ region . This role will focus on payroll configuration, integrations, compliance, release management, testing, and stakeholder engagement to ensure accurate and efficient payroll delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support implementation, configuration, and enhancement of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SAP S/4HANA HCM Payroll solutions.
- Manage integrations between Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including middleware solutions such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Configure and maintain payroll schemas, wage types, personnel calculation rules (PCRs), and payroll processing components.
- Ensure payroll compliance with statutory, taxation, and regulatory requirements across supported countries, particularly within the ANZ region.
- Design, develop, and maintain payroll reporting, audit controls, reconciliation, and validation processes.
- Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting for payroll processes and related integrations.
- Participate in release management activities including H1/H2 releases, system refresh cycles, and HRSP updates.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable payroll solutions.
- Support payroll deployment activities including data migration, testing, payroll cutover, and go-live readiness.




- Develop and maintain payroll process documentation, user guides, and operational manuals for HR and payroll teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best practices for payroll operations and system performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with finance, time tracking, and downstream systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with strong expertise in Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SAP S/4HANA HCM Payroll.
- Strong understanding of cloud payroll architecture, payroll schemas, wage types, PCRs, and statutory payroll calculations.
- Hands-on experience integrating Employee Central (EC) with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and downstream systems such as SAP FI and time tracking solutions.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or similar middleware technologies.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Experience supporting and working with ANZ customers and payroll environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP Certification in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
- Experience delivering multi-country payroll implementations.
- Knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to SuccessFactors Time Tracking, Compensation, and Benefits modules.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
- Experience supporting payroll transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
