Role Description This part-time remote role as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that increase the visibility and impact of IICA Representation in Colombia’s online content. Day-to-day tasks include performing keyword research relevant to agricultural and rural development topics, optimizing existing and new web pages, and conducting regular on-page SEO reviews.

The specialist will carry out SEO audits to identify technical and content-related improvements, implement link building initiatives, and monitor performance through web analytics tools. The role collaborates with content and communications teams to ensure that digital materials are search-friendly, aligned with organizational objectives, and accessible to diverse audiences in Colombia and the wider region.

- Candidates should possess experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits to identify technical, structural,

- Candidates should possess proficiency in web analytics tools to measure traffic, user behavior, and SEO performance.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of current SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and digital content optimization.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
- Candidates should possess effective written communication skills; Spanish and English proficiency is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in SEO for nonprofit, public sector, or agricultural/rural development organizations; relevant academic background in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or related fields is an advantage.
