Skills & Experience

n

n
- A Diploma in Beauty Therapy and/or Certificate IV in Massage, with hands-on experience in spa treatments — especially within a hotel or resort setting.
n
- Skilled in delivering both facial and body treatments, with the ability to personalise each experience to suit guest needs.
n
- Impeccable grooming, attention to detail, and time management skills that ensure every treatment runs smoothly.
n
- A solid understanding of spa culture and the wellness industry, with a calm, professional approach under pressure.
n
- Proven customer service and retail sales skills, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
n
- Flexibility to support other areas of the resort when needed, and a commitment to meeting performance expectations through training and clear KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
n
- Deliver spa services in an efficient and pleasant manner according to Spa protocols.
n




- Be familiar with all services offered at the Spa and know the costs and procedures to upsell and rebook all guests.
n
- Be knowledgeable of all product ranges offered in the Spa and the cost/use of all retail items.
n
- Perform opening and closing duties in the Spa as requested.
n
- Perform Spa Reception duties including reservations, cashiering, answering telephone and other general enquiries.
n
- Be a trusted contact for all guests and assist with issues, escalating to management when necessary.
n
- Follow safety procedures and report all incidents and maintenance to the Spa Manager/Supervisor.
n
- Anticipate guest needs and maintain a clean, tidy Spa environment (treatment rooms, change rooms, wet areas, reception and back of house).
n
