We are seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team in Wetherill Park, Australia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to an effective and positive work environment.

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders

- Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation

- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends

- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
n
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly
n
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing special requests and dietary concerns

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen setting
n
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
n
- Current food safety and hygiene certification
n
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
n
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
n
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

- Creativity and passion for food presentation and flavor combinations

- Familiarity with various dietary restrictions and food allergens

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
