About the Role

n

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Mine Waste Engineer to join our Brisbane or Perth team.

n

This role is suited to someone who has built strong technical capability and is now looking to step into a broader leadership position — leading projects, influencing clients, mentoring people, and contributing to the direction of the business.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead delivery of mine waste and geotechnical projects
n
- Act as Engineer of Record (EoR) and/or Technical Reviewer where appropriate
n
- Provide practical, risk-based technical advice across:
n
- Tailings storage facilities
n
- Closure planning
n




- Build and manage strong client relationships
n
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
n
- Support proposals, RFP's, and business development
n
- Contribute to improving technical standards and internal capability
n

n

About You

n

n
- Degree in Civil Engineering
n
- Postgraduate qualifications in Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering
n
- 6+ years' experience in mine waste engineering
n
- Experience across planning, design, construction, and operation of TSFs
n
- Strong understanding of ANCOLD, GISTM, and Australian mining requirements
n
- Proven ability to manage projects and engage directly with clients
n
- EoR and/or independent technical review experience
n
- Leadership and mentoring capability
n
- Commercial awareness and contribution to business development
n

Remuneration

n

AUD $150,000 – $220,000+, depending on experience and capability

n
