Located in the heart of Shellharbour, our cinema features 8 screens along with family-focused and community-driven experiences including Event Junior, Marketplace and Play. As General Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team and drive exceptional customer experiences while delivering strong commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead all operational, financial and people aspects of Event Cinemas Shellharbour, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and strong commercial performance.
n
- Drive revenue growth, maximise asset performance and identify recent business opportunities within the local market.
n
- Build,



coach and inspire a high-performing leadership team including Assistant Manager, Duty Managers and frontline team members.
n
- Champion customer experience by monitoring feedback, NPS performance and service standards, continuously improving the customer journey.
n
- Manage labour, inventory, maintenance, repairs and operating costs to achieve profit and productivity targets.
n
- Develop strong relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups and stakeholders to grow bookings, partnerships and revenue streams.
n
- Ensure full compliance across WHS, payroll, licensing, auditing, classification requirements and company policies.
n
- Lead local marketing execution, promotions, membership growth and community engagement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

- Proven leadership experience in a cinema, entertainment, hospitality, retail or customer-facing multi-department environment.

- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, business performance, labour and operating costs.
n
- A history of exceeding customer expectations and achieving service excellence outcomes.

- Experience leading, coaching and developing teams to deliver results.
n




- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and execute change effectively.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
