Glad Group Services is seeking professional and customer-focused Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment within a shopping centre located in the Eastern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre including internal and external areas.
- Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies and customer assistance requests.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and tenants.
- Manage access control and monitor suspicious activity.
- Complete incident reports and maintain security logs.
- Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures when required.
- Work closely with centre management and other onsite teams.
Skills And Experiences
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid security licence.
- Previous security experience preferred (retail or commercial environments advantageous).
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Positive observation and reporting skills.
- Customer service mindset.
Working Conditions
- Rotating shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Combination of indoor and outdoor patrol duties.
