About the Role

Join AVADA Group, a growing ASX-listed infrastructure services business operating across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including consolidations, journals, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong financial controls
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and support the annual budgeting process
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial system enhancements
- Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insights and decision support




- Mentor and support junior finance team members
- Contribute to finance projects and broader business initiatives

About You

- CA or CPA qualified
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in financial accounting within a commercial environment
- Strong technical accounting, tax, compliance, and audit knowledge
- Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is highly regarded
