A real estate business backed by a substantial investment group is at an exciting stage of its journey. As the organisation continues to expand its portfolio, there is an chance for an experienced Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in establishing a high-performing inhouse finance function.

The Opportunity

- Building and improving accounting processes, controls and reporting frameworks

- Preparing monthly management accounts, consolidated reporting packs and variance analysis

- Managing annual budgets, forecasts, project feasibilities and cash flow reporting

- Accounting for debt facilities, investment transactions, capital contributions and distributions

- Overseeing BAS, payroll tax and other compliance obligations

- Managing month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers

- Partnering with external advisers, financiers and suppliers

- Supervising and mentor an Assistant Accountant

About You

- CA or CPA qualification





- Strong technical accounting expertise from audit/business services or real estate, property development or funds management industry experience

- Knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
- A commercial mindset and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a changing early-stage business environment
