We are seeking an experienced Senior API Developer to join a high-performing technology team supporting a major digital transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the rebuild of a responsive digital check-in experience and mobile application, delivering robust and scalable API integrations.
You will play a key role in developing, enhancing and supporting integration services, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain APIs and integration services
- Develop scalable and reliable integration solutions across digital platforms
- Translate business and technical requirements into effective API solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and API issues
- Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts and other stakeholders
- Contribute to technical design, development and testing activities
- Ensure solutions meet development, security and performance standards
- Support the delivery of new digital capabilities across web and mobile platforms
Skills & Experience
- Robust commercial experience as an API Developer, Integration Developer or similar
- Experience designing and developing APIs and integration solutions
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and modern integration patterns
- Experience working across complex enterprise technology environments
- Strong development and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with API testing, monitoring and performance optimisation
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and contribute to solution design
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile delivery environment
