- - Most of the section is located at Agriculture House in Canberra CBD. Our standard expectation is for staff to attend the office at least three (3) working days each week. The section is supportive of adaptable arrangements and consideration will be made to accommodate individual and collaboration needs. In-person attendance at important Agile ceremonies (currently held quarterly) and other important team / section events is a requirement.

Job details The Enterprise Analytics and Technology Services (EATS) section in the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) are looking for an Azure Could Platform Engineer who has experience in managing cloud hosted infrastructure using infrastructure as code in support of data and analytics workloads.

Key duties and responsibilities The roles will be responsible for the detailed solution design, development,



and implementation of infrastructure in Azure in support of data and analytics workloads. These outcomes are delivered using an infrastructure as code deployment model using Terraform and the successful candidate with require experience with the following platforms and technology:

2. Azure hosted Data and Analytics Platforms such as
3. Azure Databricks
4. Azure Data Factory
5. Azure Web Apps
6. Logic Apps
7. Azure security features such as
8. Networking
9. Identity and Access Management
10. Policy
11. Infrastructure as Code
12. Terraform based infrastructure management
13. Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
14. Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements to design and implement Advanced Analytics and AI solutions.
15. Experience in delivery and/or administration of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or other analytical services.

17. Experience in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps).
18. Delivery and or administration experience with traditional data technology solutions
