Senior Business Development Manager - Battery Storage (5MW and Below)

Salary: $220k–$250k package (incl. super) + bonus

About the Role

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing player in the battery energy storage space, looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales of end-to-end EPC solutions for batteries 5MW and below. This role covers both behind-the-meter and front-of-meter storage projects, and you'll be the person clients rely on to take them from grid application and feasibility studies through to a fully connected, operating asset.

This is a genuine opportunity to own a growing pipeline in one of the most active segments of Australia's energy transition, mall-to-mid scale battery storage — at a business that's scaling rapid.

What You'll Be Doing

- Selling end-to-end EPC solutions for battery storage projects 5MW and below
- Managing both behind-the-meter and front-of-meter opportunities
- Guiding clients through the full project lifecycle — from grid connection applications and feasibility through to a connected, live asset
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of developers, C&I; (commercial and industrial) owners, and energy retailers




- Identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships
- Working closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from sale to execution

What You'll Bring

- Proven business development or sales experience in batteries, energy storage, or broader renewable energy/EPC markets
- Strong understanding of grid connection processes, feasibility assessments, and the behind-the-meter/front-of-meter landscape
- An existing network of developers, C&I; clients, or energy retailers (highly regarded)
- Commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex, technical sales cycles
- Self-starter mentality with the drive to build a pipeline from the ground up
