Job Description

- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
n
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end processes.
n
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and provide insights into variances.
n
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
n
- Oversee tax compliance and reporting, including BAS and FBT submissions.
n
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to assist management decision-making.
n
- Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
n
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.

The Successful Applicant

n

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

n

- A degree in Accounting,



Finance, or a related field.
n
- Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent) are highly regarded.
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
n
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
n
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‐solving.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
