Every day our Claims teams help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate an injured workers recovery through tailored support to individuals to help get their lives back. As a senior team member, you will set the standard in claims management while guiding and supporting others around you through mentoring and coaching colleagues and leading by example to create a culture of collaboration.

This will be a full time, permanent position with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained. This role can be based from any EML Australian office with a generous relocation allowance on offer for eligible candidates.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
- Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs
n
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy
n
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
n
- Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments
n
- Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team
n

About You
n
n
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory
n
- You must currently be residing in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonus
n
- An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support
n
- A driven qualified with highly developed written and verbal communication skills
n
- Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy to manage stakeholder engagement
n
- A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently
n
