Executive, OHS Compliance & Facility Management

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive to join our OHS team in Mulgrave, VIC!

Summary:

The Executive, OHS Compliance & Facility Management plays a crucial role in assisting with the overall management of OHS compliances and facility maintenance management across all warehouses/operation sites located in Australia and other global network within the organisation.

Some of your responsibilities are but not limited to:

- Assists the Line Manager to administer Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies, procedures and processes and has a good knowledge of respective local OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) and statutory legislations for maintaining a safe building and work environment.
- Work with minimum supervision in planning, organizing, leading and controlling Occupational Health & Safety processes in the workplace.
- Regularly updating the OHS understanding and insights, and regulations in compliance with all relevant local laws.
- Work with OHS Consultants in managing timelines on Action Plans and other related matters on work health & safety.




- Assists the Line Manager in the overall management of warehouse facilities, including new purchases of plant & equipment and regular maintenance of plant & equipment at all sites. This includes conducting mandatory inductions and provide relevant training to the floor staff, especially on recent equipment.
- Diligently follow up on scheduled OHS reporting and preparing all relevant reports and recommendation of action plans to the Management in compliance with Head Office administrative/approval protocols.
- Support the Line Manager on annual fire drills at all sites.
- Undertake administrative tasks like reports and power point presentations.
- Willing to travel interstate and/or overseas upon request.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

- Preferably holds a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, or higher
- Has at least one year work experience in Work Health & Safety, and working in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Proficiency in speaking, reading & writing Mandarin
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
