Your Nursing Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team in Hervey Bay, QLD. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work when it suits you best. As a support worker, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our aged and disabled clients, providing personalised and compassionate care to help them live independently.

What you'll be doing

n

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and light household duties

n

Providing individualised support to clients with complex needs, including those with physical, cognitive, or mental health challenges

n

Monitoring client health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate care team

n

Liaising with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to client care

n

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

n

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations to ensure the highest standards of care

n

What we're looking for

n

Completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or Enrolled Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration

n





Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality care to aged or disabled clients

n

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients

n

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on client-centred care

n

A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals

n

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

n

Willingness to undergo a National Police Check

n

Current NDIS / Working with children's check and NDIS orientation module

n

HLTHPS006 or equivalent competency training or willingness to complete

n

Weekend availability is a must!
