About the Role
n
n
- Empowering clients to maintain independence and achieve personal goals
n
- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
n
- Supporting social and community participation through companionship and outings
n
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines as required
n
- Transporting clients safely and assisting with errands using your own vehicle
n
- Working independently while building respectful, trusting relationships that uphold dignity, choice, and privacy
n
n
What You Will Bring
n
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support and motivate clients toward independence
n
- A genuine passion for supporting others with a caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
n
- Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based support, consistent with QCSS principles
n
- Currently enrolled in, or completion of, a Certificate III or higher in:n n
- Individual Support
n
- Aged Care
n
- Disability or related field (minimum 120 placement hours completed)
n
n
- Experience in Cleaning, Hospitality, Customer Service and Retail. Ability to work autonomously and responsibly in a community-based setting
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Australian working rights
n
- Current Australian driver's licence
n
- Queensland motor vehicle registration
n
n
Willing to Obtain

- First Aid Statement of Attainment
n
- CPR Statement of Attainment
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Blue Card
n
- Australian Criminal History Check (issued within the last 6 months)
n
n
