We're working exclusively with a growing, product-led business to find their next Senior Commercial Analyst. This is a genuinely commercial role supporting the Commercial Manager and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and Product, and it goes well beyond standard reporting.

What the role involves:

- Analysing sales performance, margin, customer profitability, product and SKU performance, and channel performance to build a transparent commercial picture.
- Owning monthly forecasting and supporting the annual budget process, including variance analysis, scenario modelling and performance outlooks.
- Supporting commercial investment decisions, including wholesaler rebates, trading terms and margin protection.
- Preparing business reviews and putting forward commercial recommendations, not just the numbers behind them.
- Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and Product leadership as a trusted source of insight.
- Helping the business spot risks and opportunities early, before they show up in the results.

What you'll bring:

- 5-7+ years in commercial finance, FP&A; or business partnering.
- CA or CPA qualification.




- Strong forecasting and budgeting experience, with solid Excel and modelling capability.
- A track record of supporting Sales and/or Marketing teams, and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
- Essential - a background in a distribution, wholesale, or other product-led business, with exposure to multi-site or multi-SKU environments, margin-driven commercial models, or customer rebates and trading terms.

What matters just as much as the technical skills: This is a role for someone who thinks commercially, not just someone who reports numbers well. We're looking for people who are curious, comfortable challenging assumptions, and confident translating data into action. You'll need to be able to influence without relying on authority, engage easily with non-finance stakeholders, and stay practical and solutions-focused when things get complex.

This one won't suit candidates who are purely reporting focused, highly transactional, low confidence in stakeholder settings, or not used to challenging or influencing decisions.
