Permanent Full Time An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Senior Community Patrol Officer to provide operational leadership to our Community Patrol team and support the delivery of a visible, responsive and intelligence-driven community safety service. Why You’ll Love This Role Reporting to the Team Leader Community Patrol, you will supervise Community Patrol Officers and coordinate the delivery of patrol services across the City. Working outside of traditional business hours, you will play a key role in community safety initiatives, emergency response activities, patrol operations and customer service delivery.

This role combines frontline operational responsibilities with team leadership, coaching and roster coordination while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to Community Patrol Officers.
- Coordinate operational activities, workflows and resource allocation to ensure effective service delivery.
- Deliver induction, training,



coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Lead community patrol operations and respond to customer enquiries, complaints and incidents.
- Attend and report on suspicious activity, damage, graffiti, faults and other community safety concerns.
- Liaise with WA Police, Department of Fire and Emergency Services and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate after-hours responses to building alarms, emergencies and service requests.
- Monitor CCTV systems and support deployment of patrol resources to priority areas.
- Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs and customer records.
- Assist in maintaining rosters and ensuring operational coverage requirements are met.
- Promote workplace safety and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising operational teams.
- Strong experience within the security industry.
- Highly developed leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Sound judgement and the ability to effectively manage complex situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make lawful, accountable decisions.
- Intermediate proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience maintaining records, reports and operational documentation.




- A customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships

Essential Requirements
- Certificate II in Security Operations.
- Security Officer's Licence issued under the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996.
- Current Western Australian Driver's Licence.
- National Police Clearance (less than three months old).
- Availability to work a roster that supports an after-hours community patrol service.
