The Role The successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who is responsible for leading sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management activities supporting capital projects across Glencore Metals Australia.

You will be responsible for:

- Lead sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and contract administration activities for assigned project packages.
- Provide commercial advice and lead commercial evaluations to optimise value, manage risk, and support project delivery objectives.
- Manage complex engineering, construction, equipment supply, and service contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to project managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, influencing procurement and contracting outcomes.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers and contractors to deliver sustainable project outcomes





About You Reporting directly to the Superintendent – Category Management this role would suit a detailed and process oriented person.

You will also have

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Law, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in procurement, contracts, or commercial roles supporting capital projects.

- Robust knowledge of project procurement, contract management, and commercial principles.
- Experience developing and implementing procurement and contracting strategies for capital projects.
- Experience supporting sustaining capital, brownfield, greenfield, infrastructure, mining, processing plant, or construction projects.
- Solid commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, contractor management, risk allocation, and value delivery.
- Experience managing competitive tender processes and complex contract negotiations.
