We are currently seeking Senior Cost Controllers to join our dynamic project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major EPCM project.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain project cost control systems and interfaces with financial systems, including SAP.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, commitments, accruals, and cash flows.
- Support the development and maintenance of approved project cost baselines.
- Ensure accurate application and maintenance of WBS structures, cost codes, and reporting frameworks.
- Prepare and analyse cost reports, forecasts, trends, and variance analysis.
- Monitor project performance against budget and identify cost risks and opportunities.




- Support change management processes through assessment of cost impacts and exposure analysis.
- Manage post-award cost control activities for contracts and work packages.
- Review contractor invoices and validate costs against scope, contracts, and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with planning teams to support integrated cost and schedule reporting.

Skills & Experience

- Experience in Cost Control, Project Controls, Project Accounting, or a similar role.
- Experience within mining, resources, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or major projects environments.
- Robust knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, accruals, commitments, and cash flow management.
- Experience using SAP and project cost management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial and project performance data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
