About The Role This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile resilience uplift program for a major Federal Government client. Our client is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst (APS6 equivalent) to join their Cyber Security team in the ACT.
In this role, you will support crucial cyber security GRC activities, reviewing and providing recommendations to develop robust security requirements. You will be actively involved in contributing to solution design, leading the development of formal security documentation,
and supporting the coordination of security assurance processes, including IRAP and penetration testing.
This is a surge role tied to the delivery of major national events. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and willing to make a big impact. During key event periods, you will additionally support event-specific requirements, which will require extended hours and weekend work.

Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Essential Eight.
- Demonstrated experience and capability performing a cyber security GRC role.
- Demonstrated experience in developing formal GRC documentation and communications for senior executive decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder or client interactions to achieve an outcome.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related roles (Desirable).
- Must be able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.
