An established building services consultancy is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing Perth team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working directly with clients and contributing to the continued development of a collaborative local team.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering electrical building services designs across a diverse portfolio of projects, from initial concept through to construction and completion.

Key responsibilities will include

- Leading the electrical design and delivery of building services projects
- Designing power, lighting, communications and associated electrical systems
- Preparing calculations, specifications, reports and tender documentation
- Coordinating electrical services with other engineering disciplines
- Managing project budgets, programs and technical deliverables
- Attending client meetings, design workshops and site inspections
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
- Building strong relationships with clients, architects and project stakeholders
- Supporting proposals, fee submissions and broader business development activities

About You To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering




- Approximately 7 or more years of experience in electrical building services design
- Experience delivering projects within an Australian consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and building codes
- Experience across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, residential, retail or government
- Proficiency with relevant electrical design and calculation software
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Chartered status or progress toward chartership would be advantageous
