We are seeking an experienced Senior Embryologist to join our high-performing Embryology team based in Spring Hill, Brisbane.

About the Role
As a Senior Embryologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality embryology and andrology services within an accredited laboratory environment.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will utilise your technical expertise across a broad range of reproductive technologies while supporting quality, compliance and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform embryology and andrology procedures independently
- Conduct semen analysis and sperm preparation for IUI, IVF and ICSI
- Culture and manipulate gametes and embryos
- Perform embryo grading and assessment for transfer and cryopreservation
- Undertake cryopreservation of gametes and embryos
- Perform embryo biopsy for PGT following competency-based training
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and patient records
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs
- Support training and mentoring of developing scientists
- Collaborate with clinicians, nurses and scientists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Contribute to research, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are a skilled embryologist who is passionate about scientific excellence and delivering meaningful outcomes for patients and families.
You will bring
- A degree in Science with training and experience in reproductive biology and assisted reproductive technologies
- Significant experience in clinical embryology and/or andrology
- Strong technical expertise across IVF laboratory procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A commitment to quality, continuous improvement and patient-centred care
The following will be highly regarded:
- Higher qualifications in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. MSc)
- Previous experience in embryo biopsy and PGT procedures
- Understanding of laboratory quality management systems
- Experience working within an accredited laboratory environment
