Green Values Australia is a specialist environmental consultancy based in Perth, supporting clients across the mining, public, and private sectors since 2017. We provide expert advice in environmental approvals, compliance, environmental management, and stakeholder engagement, including working closely with Indigenous communities.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to provide strategic leadership across complex environmental initiatives nationwide. This role will lead the delivery of high-impact projects, oversee regulatory strategy and approvals pathways, and act as a trusted advisor to clients on environmental risk, compliance, and sustainability outcomes.
A key position within a growing business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping organisational strategy and developing capability across the team, and influencing the direction and culture of the business while driving long-term value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of environmental and regulatory strategies with clients.
- Provide expert advice on environmental legislation, approvals, and compliance.
- Oversee Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), audits, and risk analyses.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior advisors.
- Engage with stakeholders including government bodies, clients, stakeholders, indigenous communities, and industry partners.
- Represent Green Values Australia in public forums, conferences, and regulatory consultations.
- Monitor emerging environmental trends and integrate best practices into project delivery.
- Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental advisory, on-site mining or consultancy roles.
- Consultancy-focused environmental advisory experience is required for this position.
- Proven track record in leading complex environmental projects and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and planning systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding of cultural heritage considerations is highly desirable.
- Membership with relevant qualified bodies (e.g., EIANZ) preferred.
- Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
