ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Quality Test Engineer with strong functional testing expertise in accounting and finance applications to support a critical engagement on the Acurity platform. This role suits a hands-on tester who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys working closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. Previous experience supporting testing initiatives for UniSuper or similar financial services environments will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Review business and technical requirements to provide transparent, timely feedback
n
- Design and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
n
- Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities
n
- Execute functional, regression, and system testing
n
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
n
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify system requirements
n
- Monitor debugging and retesting outcomes
n




- Continuously improve testing processes and approaches
n
- Stay current with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
n

Skills & Experience Required

n

n
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
n
- Proven experience testing accounting or finance-based applications
n
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
n
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
n
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
n
