Quality Manager – Visy (Shepparton, Australia)

Overview

n

As Quality Manager you will lead all aspects of site, product and food safety quality, manufacturing compliance and continuous improvement. You will embed a culture of coaching, mentoring and driving rapid resolution of quality issues, ensuring the site is always audit‐ready.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead site and product quality, food safety and manufacturing compliance.
n
- Embed continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and RCA.
n
- Drive resolution of quality issues, lead investigations and implement corrective actions quickly.
n
- Serve as technical lead connecting the site, customers, suppliers and regulators.
n
- Manage key quality programs, audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues.
n
- Support operational performance and embed robust systems that lift site capability.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Proven experience in a quality leadership role in manufacturing.
n
- Strong skills in coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement.
n
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, HACCP, FSSC and customer standards.
n
- Experience managing audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues.
n
- Robust RCA, error‐proofing and problem‐solving capability.
n
- High proficiency with quality systems (SFOL, OFS/Buffey, SAP, MS Office).
n




- Values aligned to Visy and ability to build strong internal/external relationships.
n
- Qualifications in Quality Management or similar.
n
- Technical capability adaptable to complex manufacturing environments.
n
