The Opportunity

Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer ready to step up to an Associate-level position? We have an excellent opportunity with a leading multidisciplinary building services engineering consultancy based in Sydney.

n

Our client is growing their team and looking for an experienced electrical engineer ready to take on greater technical responsibility, mentor junior engineers, and lead on high-profile projects across the building services sector.

n

You'll work on diverse projects, from residential and commercial developments to industrial and heritage structures. This is a genuine step-up role for someone ready to develop their leadership skills while maintaining hands-on involvement in design and engineering.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Lead the electrical design and coordination of medium to large building services projects.
n
- Mentor and support junior and graduate engineers in the team.
n
- Manage client relationships and liaise with architects, mechanical engineers, and other consultants.
n
- Prepare detailed specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
n
- Undertake site visits and provide onsite technical support during construction.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards.
n
- Stay current with relevant codes, standards, and sustainable design practices.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design for building services consultancy.
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and Building Codes.
n
- Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead a small team.
n




- Excellent communication and client‐facing skills.
n
- A desire to grow into a leadership role or currently an Associate Electrical Engineer.
n
