The Company

Our client is a leading FMCG business with a solid presence in the industry operating globally. They are seeking a Supply & Demand Planning Manager with exposure to the Retail sector, to drive the local S&OP; for the business.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Senior leadership team, this role with drive the S&OP;, demand forecasting, Inventory management, supplier management and wider planning activities for the business. You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Customer Service.

- Lead the Supply and Demand Planning process, taking accountability for the local S&OP; cycle and running the monthly meetings.

- Lead a team of demand & supply planners locally, mentoring and developing them to drive a high performance culture.
n
- Work with commercial teams to drive promotional planning, and improve the overall demand forecasting for the business.
n
- Manage launch and promotional planning for products across the business, working with retailers to use historical data and market assumptions to predict launch patterns.
n
- Work with the wider commercial team to lead forecast reviews, creating more synergy with retailers to improve information sharing and accuracy.
n
- Manage finished goods inventory to achieve stock targets, including coordinating replenishment and ordering with the global business.
n
- Drive distribution and replenishment planning to ensure products are available across warehouses and distribution channels locally.

- Monitor inventory performance and supply trends,



identifying potential shortages or excess stock and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

- Translate local market information, promotional activity, retailer strategy and financial priorities into planning decisions.
n
- Establish and maintain key relationships with retail supply chains, to help improve joint planning efforts and create more transparency across the business.

- Leverage SAP IBP, Power BI and AI to work with data to turn it into actionable objectives to help drive business performance.

Your Background

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Solid experience within FMCG, Retail or similarly aligned industry across Supply Planning, Demand Planning or S&OP.;
n
- Proven ability of working at pace and taking autonomy for decisions, whilst having the skills to influence stakeholders and mentor a team.
n
- Hands on leader, who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Must have the curiosity to solve problems and lead on CI projects.
n
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to articulate strategy based on the findings from the data.
n
- Knowledge of SAP IBP & Power BI.
n

In return you will be given the opportunity to work for a global FMCG business, leading the local S&OP; team. You will have great accessibility to the SLT, and given the growth plans for the company will gain exposure to a number of exciting projects. This role is based in Sydney, with hybrid working options. The business is looking to pay $150k – $160K + Super + Bonus.
