- Expressions of interest to join Destination NSW, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport

- Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $116,981 - $129,492 per annum plus superannuation

- Temporary role until February 2027 based in Sydney, NSW

About the role The Senior Coordinator Finance supports the delivery of finance services across Destination NSW. The role provides financial reporting, analysis and day-to-day finance support to help the organisation achieve its business and financial objectives. It also works closely with Shared Services and internal stakeholders to ensure finance services are delivered effectively. Key responsibilities include managing financial records, reconciliations, purchase orders, invoice processing and accounts payable activities. The role also supports audit requirements, financial reporting and compliance with government policies, legislation and accounting standards.

The role works with teams across the organisation to resolve finance issues, improve processes and support system and business changes. It requires strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality customer service.

About you The successful candidate will have experience in finance, accounting or financial administration and a good understanding of financial processes and controls. They will be confident managing a range of finance activities, including accounts payable, reconciliations, procurement and financial reporting.

They will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing deadlines in a busy workplace. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive working relationships and provide practical, customer-focused support.
