Senior Interior Designer | Brisbane | High-End Multi-Residential | Established Developer An opportunity has become available for an accomplished Senior Interior Designer to join the internal design team of one of Brisbane's most highly regarded residential property groups.

Working from their Brisbane head office, this is a genuine client-side design position, offering the opportunity to influence projects from early concept and material selection through documentation, construction and final delivery.

Rather than handing a design over once documentation is complete, you'll remain closely involved throughout the project lifecycle — working alongside experienced development, design and construction teams to ensure the original design intent translates into an exceptional finished product.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Design and working closely with the Interior Design Manager, you will:

- Lead interior design packages across multiple high-end apartment projects
- Develop concepts, finishes, fixtures and detailed design documentation
- Review and interrogate shop drawings and milestone documentation
- Coordinate architects, consultants, suppliers and specialist contractors
- Work closely with construction teams and respond to design RFIs
- Attend site throughout construction to review quality and design compliance
- Participate in benchmark inspections and sign-offs for key finishes and joinery
- Contribute to furniture, artwork, styling and broader placemaking initiatives
- Review renders and provide input into project marketing material
- Research new materials, products and emerging apartment design trends
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of the wider design team





What We're Looking For This is a senior appointment and we're looking for someone with an established track record in the Brisbane design market.

You will ideally have

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
- Minimum 5–7 years' post-graduate Interior Design experience
- Strong experience in high-end residential and/or multi-residential apartment projects
- Proven Brisbane project experience and strong local industry knowledge
- A CV demonstrating strong tenure and career stability
- Excellent design, documentation and technical detailing capability
- Experience coordinating consultants and leading design packages
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and how design translates on site
- Experience reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, finishes, joinery and construction documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The confidence to work collaboratively with senior development and construction professionals
- A genuine passion for architecture, interiors, placemaking and premium residential design
