The Role

n

The studio is built and the story is real – we need a person who can capture and package it. This is a hands‐on content production role for filming, editing, and publishing compelling video for Instagram, YouTube, and a podcast.

What You'll Do

n

Filming & Production

n

n
- Film high‐quality video across the podcast studio, locations, live events and day‐to‐day business activity
n
- Capture real, unscripted moments with Tom and Tactical Tradie clients in the field
n
- Run the podcast end to end – from studio set‐up and recording to published episode
n
- Travel to live events, intensives and client activities throughout the year to capture content on‐site
n
- Manage camera, audio and lighting to meet a high quality bar
n

Editing & Content Packaging

n

n
- Edit reels, YouTube videos, shorts and full podcast episodes
n
- Turn a single shoot into multiple pieces of content across platforms
n
- Write strong hooks, captions, titles and thumbnails that actually perform
n
- Use AI tools to speed up editing, repurposing and production workflow
n
- Understand what makes content perform on each platform and optimise accordingly
n

Platform Growth

n

- Build and grow Instagram as the primary platform, with YouTube and podcast alongside it
n
- Stay current with trends, editing styles and formats and bring ideas constantly
n
- Research what is performing for founders and business content creators and apply it
n

n

Working with Tom

n

- Keep Tom accountable to showing up,



brief him and organise him for shoots
n
- Write copy, captions and scripts as needed
n
- Manage the content calendar and keep production moving without chase
n

n

Who You Are

n

n
- Energetic, creative, obsessed with outstanding content; you research what the best creators do
n
- Proficient in filming and editing to a high standard – both are non‐negotiable
n
- Understand personal brand content, not just business page posting
n
- Comfortable capturing real, unscripted moments – raw, authentic content is your strength
n
- Produce consistently, fast and without dropping quality
n
- Comfortable in a podcast studio, on a boat, at a camping event or on a job site
n
- Proficient with AI tools for editing and content production and use them daily
n
- Bring ideas, hustle and make things happen without waiting to be asked
n

Bonus if you

- Have worked with a founder or personal brand before
n
- Have podcast production or YouTube channel experience
n
- Have an understanding of the trades, entrepreneurship or business coaching space
n

n

What This Role Is Not

n

We are not looking for someone who schedules posts and calls it content marketing. If your portfolio is Canva graphics and caption writing, this is not the right fit.

n

We need someone who picks up a camera, captures something real, edits it into something compelling, and gets it live.
