Job Description

As a Project Engineer at OpusV, you will be expected to manage a project's engineering and technical aspects. This includes coordinating with various teams, managing schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

- Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, required resources, and risk assessments.

- Design and implement current network solutions.
n
- Improve efficiency of existing network/s.
n
- Install, configure and support of network equipment (Switches, Routers, Servers, WAN Accelerators, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
n
- Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximize efficiency and security.
n
- Ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of the network.
n
- Arranging scheduled updates and outage windows.
n
- Reporting and communicating network status to relevant stakeholders.
n
- Provide feedback on feasibility of technical design.
n
- Design and implement a test plan to verify function of designs.
n
- Lead a team on implementation of the technical solution.
n
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.
n
- Coordinate with various teams, including design, manufacturing,



construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are met.
n
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
n
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
n
- Maintain accurate timesheets.
n
- Install, configure and support operating systems (Microsoft Server/Desktop, Linux, Hypervisor).
n
- Administration & management of Azure environments.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Qualification in IT or Computer Science Engineering or commensurate experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience on significant projects and complex technical problem solving.
n
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
n
- This position is open to Australian/New Zealand Citizens and permanent residents, or those with unrestricted work rights.
n
- Unrestricted Work Visa holders: You may only be considered for a fixed term period of employment that does not exceed your visa term.
n
- Must be able to attend the Melbourne Office at least 3 days a week.
