JPJ Audio is seeking a motivated and organised RiggingDepartment Coordinator to support the day-to‐day operation of our busyRigging Department.

n

Reporting to the Rigging Department Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our extensive rigging inventory is maintained, organised, compliant and prepared for upcoming projects.

n

This is primarily a warehouse‐based position and is ideal for someone who enjoys equipment management, logistics, organisation and maintaining high technical standards. While there may be occasional opportunities to assist on‐site, this is not a touring or regular show crewrole.

About the Role

n

Working alongside the Rigging Department Supervisor, you will assist with:

n

n
- Preparing rigging equipment for upcoming productions.
n
- Processing equipment returns and ensuring gear is cleaned, inspected and ready for hire.
n
- Maintaining accurate inventory and equipment records.
n
- Coordinating inspections, servicing and maintenance schedules.
n
- Managing compliance documentation and equipment certification.
n
- Organising repairs and liaising with external service providers where required.
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse.
n
- Assisting with stocktakes and continuous improvement projects.
n
- Supporting current equipment commissioning and department development.
n




- Working closely with Operations and other warehouse departments to ensure equipment is available when required.
n

About You

n

You will be someone who enjoys responsibility, takes pride in organisation and understands the importance of maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Experience in entertainment rigging, staging, production or a related technical industry highly desirable
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
n
- High attention to detail.
n
- The ability to work independently while supporting a larger team.
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
- Forklift licence (preferred).
n
- Working at Heights qualification (advantageous).
n
- HR licence (advantageous).
n
