Overseas Study & Migration Service - Sydney CBD NSW

Overseas Studies and Migration Services (OSMS) is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Registered Migration Agent to join our growing Sydney team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about Australian migration law and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and have minimum of 1 year of experience. Candidates holding a valid OMARA registration and Migration Agent Registration Number (MARN) are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional advice on Australian migration and visa matters.
- Assess clients' eligibility and recommend appropriate migration pathways.
- Prepare, review and lodge visa applications, submissions and supporting documents.
- Manage client files and communicate with clients throughout the application process.
- Conduct legal and policy research relating to migration matters.
- Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and other relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable professional and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with education counsellors and other members of the OSMS team.
- Assist the marketing team with promotional activities, migration-related content, seminars, webinars, information sessions and community engagement initiatives.




- Support business development activities by promoting OSMS migration services professionally and ethically.

About you

- Qualification in Australian law or migration law.
- A valid Australian legal practicing certificate and/or current OMARA registration, as applicable.
- A valid Migration Agent Registration Number (MARN) is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in migration law or visa services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Australian migration legislation, policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client matters.
- Professional, ethical and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
