About the Role
n
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health (SRN 3), you will take on a leadership role in mental health triage, acute assessment, crisis intervention, and case management. This position requires a dynamic and adaptable nurse who is confident in working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a remote hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting mental health triage and acute assessments
n
- Performing risk assessments and developing safety plans
n
- Delivering crisis intervention and stabilisation strategies
n
- Providing ongoing case management and care coordination
n
- Supporting and mentoring other team members in best practices
n
- Collaborating with hospital teams and external services for seamless client care
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
n
- Experience in mental health triage, crisis response, and case management
n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in remote settings
n
- Ability to manage complex mental health presentations
n
- Commitment to culturally safe care, particularly in Aboriginal communities
n
- Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check & Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
n
