This is an excellent prospect for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel in General Insurance and Public Liability to step into a leadership role and position yourself for Partnership.

This is one of Melbourne's most respected Insurance practices, consistently ranked in Chambers and Legal 500. With over 30 non-Partner fee-earners in the group and several former Partners stepping back into Consultant roles, there is a clear pathway for someone motivated to step up to Partnership. For those content with a career as Special Counsel, the role is equally suited to you.

The team fosters a well-rounded practice, giving lawyers the chance to work across diverse areas, including personal injury, public liability, property damage, property liability, catastrophic injury, historical claims, and recovery matters. If you have a particular area of interest or want to narrow your focus, there is flexibility to tailor this role to your strengths.

You'll be working closely with multiple Partners, giving you exposure to different styles and approaches while supporting your professional growth. There is plenty of client-facing responsibility and room to develop your leadership skills in preparation for the next step in your career.
